The Most Reverend Greaves was installed as Archbishop of Brisbane, and Metropolitan of the Province of Queensland, at St John’s Cathedral in December 2023.

He was ordained a Deacon in 1997, a Priest in 1998 and a Bishop in 2017. He has held a number of appointments in South Australia, the Northern Territory and Queensland, including Dean of Christ Church Cathedral in Darwin, and Administrator of the Diocese of the Northern Territory.

Archbishop Greaves is passionate about finding ways for the Church to engage with the wider community, be a respectful participant in public discourse and continue to be a place where everyone is welcome.

Archbishop Greaves is married to Josie. They have three children.

Geoff Newton is an experienced educational leader and school principal with more than four decades in teaching and school leadership.

He has served at Hillbrook Anglican School for 24 years, including as Principal since 2008 and previously as Deputy Principal. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Hunter Valley Grammar and Moreton Bay College, with responsibilities spanning curriculum leadership and mathematics education.

Geoff’s background is supported by advanced study in educational leadership, administration, and computer education, including qualifications from the University of Newcastle and QUT, along with professional development through the Centre for Creative Leadership and Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

The Right Reverend John Roundhill was ordained a Deacon in 1993 and a Priest in 1994 and has vast experience in parish, school and international ministry, having worked in a parish in England, as a school chaplain in Scotland, and as Sub-Dean of St John’s Cathedral in Hong Kong.

Bishop Roundhill has returned to Queensland to be appointed as Bishop of the Southern Region in 2018, after working in the regional Diocese of Bendigo as Dean of St Paul’s Cathedral since 2012. Prior to this he served in Brisbane as Rector of Aspley-Albany Creek, and as an Area Dean and then Archdeacon.

Bishop Roundhill has a keen interest in social justice, and is committed to the mission of God and in seeing that mission expressed in contemporary ways.

Bishop Roundhill is married to Frances Thompson and they have two children.

Dr Alan Campbell was appointed eighth Headmaster of Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie) from 1 January 2014 and believes that education should inspire young people to use their knowledge, talents and gifts to enthusiastically lead and serve others in local, national and global communities.

Beyond his role as Headmaster of Churchie, he is a Director on the Board of Independent Schools Queensland (ISQ), and is a Director of the College Council of St John’s College, a residential, coeducational college, within The University of Queensland.

Alan holds memberships in the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO), the Headmasters’ Conference (HMC) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), the latter of which he is a graduate. Alan retains a love of literature, music and sport, and an enthusiastic involvement in recreational and charity cycling

Ms Cheales is an accomplished Board Director and Executive Consultant with a diverse professional background.

An innovative and strategic leader, Ms Cheales’ enviable skillset includes corporate and academic governance, business development, organisational performance, and change management.

Ms Cheales is Chair at St Andrew’s Anglican College and has qualifications in corporate governance, business, human movement studies, education, teaching, and mediation.

A strategic leader in human services, Ms Reid brings more than 35 years’ experience in child protection, mental health, cultural capability, diversity and inclusion to the Anglican Schools Commission.

Ms Reid holds degrees in Social Work and Theology and has led the design and delivery of child protection, education, disability services, and seniors and carers strategies and programs for multiple Queensland Government departments.

Ms Reid is a lifelong, committed and active member of the Anglican Church. Her children attended St Paul’s School.
